The first student to receive this scholarship is Joshua Nesta. Joshua is a junior in the entrepreneurship major. When asked to describe why he deserves this scholarship Joshua said,

“Ever since I was a young kid I dove headfirst into any project I was working on and would give it 110 percent effort. My adaptability and resilience have been the reason I have made it to Florida State University and the reason that I will one day become successful.”

“I had a spectacular experience in the FSU entrepreneurship program. I only applied to one school when I graduated high school and that was FSU specifically for the opportunity to participate in the entrepreneurship program. I started five businesses in my four years at FSU with support from the Jim Moran Institute. None of those businesses are active today, but it was the experience I learned in the process of running them that helped me graduate from FSU with my choice of jobs. I also attribute my success today to my time in the program. I’m currently traveling the world in an “intrapreneurship” role I designed at a public software company.”
